Here are some answers to some of the questions you might have about the day:
Accommodation:
There are plenty of places nearby that you could stay if needed. We know some guests will be at both the Premier Inn (Frome) and Travelodge (Beckington). If you would like something a little different, there is a helpful list of suggestions that can be found here.
Transport:
For those travelling from further afield, there are train stations in Bath and Westbury from London, or Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge from Bristol/Salisbury/Southampton. The venue is best reached by car. You can leave your car overnight if required (please collect by 12:00 on Sunday) and there are various taxi companies nearby in Frome, Bath, etc. depending upon where you are staying.
Parking:
There is plenty of parking at Court Farm. It will be signposted from the lane as you turn off the A36. Please park in the field rather than in the farmyard itself.
Due to limited parking at Holy Trinity Church (and the car parks in Bradford on Avon being busy most weekends), we are thinking about putting on a bus from Court Farm to the church and back again for the ceremony. Please let us know on the RSVP if this is something that would be of interest.
Food & Drink:
There will be a wedding breakfast at Court Farm after the Ceremony and there will be food served later in the evening too.
Court Farm is not a licensed venue so, whilst there will be a bar serving the drinks, they are included.
Other Helpful Info:
RSVP
- We would appreciate your RSVP by 22nd May please, so that we have time to seat you all and arrange your food/drink.
Clothing
- The wedding party will be suited and booted but please wear what you feel comfortable in. Our venue is mostly outdoors/in rustic barns, so please bring some layers if you feel the cold, and maybe a coat/umbrella just in case.
Children
- Where we have included them on the invitations, we would love your children to come along and celebrate with us, however we also fully understand if you prefer an excuse for a kid-free weekend away.
Gifts
- Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon/home renovations. We've set up a facility for this with Patchwork which you can find here.
Surnames
- Nat hasn't yet decided whether to keep her name, or change it, but will not be offended how you address her regardless. The bookies aren't taking bets either way, but we just hope she will be able to decide by the big day!
